Proposed regulations that add several definitions regularly used by IAC staff and LEAs, clarify the use of certain terms, adjust language throughout to reflect term changes, add information on when feasibility studies are required, when LEAs can obtain construction funding for leased facilities, information on IAC practices for obtaining Schematic Design, Construction Documents, and Design Documents, and when Pedestrian Safety Plans are required, and allow for additional funding for projects eligible for the Net-Zero State Cost-Share Add-on in certain circumstances. These revisions were published in the Maryland Register on April 18, 2025, initiating a public comment period that will last 30 days. Final review by the IAC will take place at the June 12, 2025 IAC meeting.
