Awards of funding for the Capital Improvement Program (CIP)

FY 2026 Capital Improvement Program 75% Recommendations

In accordance with Maryland law (Education Article §5-304(b)(5), Annotated Code of Maryland), on or before December 31 each year, the Interagency Commission shall approve 75% of the preliminary school construction allocation determined under § 8-113 of the State Finance and Procurement Article for the following fiscal year. The IAC met this requirement for FY 2026 on December 19, 2024.

FY 2025 Capital Improvement Program 100% Allocations

In accordance with Maryland law (Education Article §5-304(b)(5), Annotated Code of Maryland), on or after May 1 each year, the Interagency Commission shall approve 100% of the school construction allocation included in the capital budget bill as enacted. The IAC met this requirement for FY 2025 on May 9, 2024.

FY 2024 Capital Improvement Program 100% Allocations

In accordance with Maryland law (Education Article §5-304(b)(5), Annotated Code of Maryland), on or after May 1 each year, the Interagency Commission shall approve 100% of the school construction allocation included in the capital budget bill as enacted. The IAC met this requirement for FY 2024 on May 11, 2023.

FY 2023 Capital Improvement Program 100% Allocations

In accordance with Maryland law (Education Article §5-304(b)(5), Annotated Code of Maryland), on or after May 1 each year, the Interagency Commission shall approve 100% of the school construction allocation included in the capital budget bill as enacted. The IAC met this requirement for FY 2023 on May 11, 2022.
